Medior/Senior Linux and Networking Engineer
You enjoy having control, structure and solid technology around you. You immediately see where a system is struggling and know how to fix it. You make sure platforms run smoothly, networks remain reliable and customers experience no noise. You work independently, think ahead and get energy from improving processes and infrastructures.
What you will be doing
- Managing and improving our Linux platforms (production and test)
- Building and expanding automation for installation, patching and configuration
- Ensuring stable networks and secure connections between systems and locations
- Contributing to improvements in infrastructure and security
- Working with firewalls, switches and wireless environments from Fortinet, Cisco and Sophos
- Supporting datacenter work from physical installations to documentation
- Talking to customers, thinking along with them and identifying what is really going on
- Accurately documenting work and changes to maintain clear oversight
Your main workplace is our Amsterdam office with the option to work hybrid.
During your onboarding period (at least 24 hours per week) you will be on site.
What you bring
- Proven experience with Linux administration and system automation
- Experience with network administration and firewall environments
- Understanding of security, monitoring, backup and recovery
- A structured working style and a strong sense of responsibility
- Strong communication skills, able to switch easily between tech and customer
- Curious, independent and focused on long term solutions
- Good command of Dutch and/or English
- Experience working with ITIL is a plus

Medior/Senior Windows Server Engineer
You combine technical expertise with a critical mindset and enjoy working together on stable, secure and scalable platforms.
You work independently, take initiative and enjoy building quality and continuity together with your colleagues.
What you will be doing
- Automating management tasks using PowerShell and or tooling
- Setting up and managing user, permission and policy structures
- Managing deployment and patch processes for Windows servers such as WSUS
- Leading improvement projects focused on lifecycle, security and automation
- Collaborating with network and security experts on secure platforms
- Communicating with customers at every level from end user to IT manager
- Documenting, standardising and making sure everything keeps running smoothly
Your main workplace is our Amsterdam office, with the option to work hybrid.
During your onboarding period at least 24 hours per week you will be on site.
What you bring
- Extensive experience with Windows Server 2016 2019 2022
- Experience with automation and patch management
- Understanding of security and policies such as CIS, Defender or EDR, GPO, LAPS
- Knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP, PKI, IIS and RDS
- Affinity with networking, but your strength is in the Windows domain
- Strong communication skills, analytical and customer focused
- A proactive attitude, ownership and drive to improve
- Good command of Dutch and or English
- Experience working with ITIL is a plus
