Greenhouse expands carrier-neutral ecosystem with Asimo Networks

Greenhouse Datacenters is further expanding its carrier-neutral connectivity ecosystem with Asimo Networks. With three new Points of Presence (PoPs) across all Greenhouse locations in Naaldwijk, customers gain access to extensive connectivity options and connections to 76 data center locations in the Netherlands and Europe.

Through this partnership, Greenhouse further broadens the connectivity it offers customers in the region. From Naaldwijk, customers benefit from direct access to multiple internet exchanges, low latency towards Amsterdam, and a growing ecosystem of network and connectivity partners.

Direct access to peering, cloud and data center connectivity

Greenhouse Datacenters offers carrier-neutral colocation from three data center locations in Naaldwijk, strategically positioned between Rotterdam and The Hague. Customers have access to AMS-IX, NL-IX, DE-CIX and SpeedIX, among others.

Thanks to the expansion with Asimo Networks, customers also gain connectivity to 76 data center locations in the Netherlands and Europe, including options for data center interconnection, transit, private cloud connectivity and hybrid infrastructures.

“More and more organizations are looking for a carrier-neutral environment outside Amsterdam, without compromising on connectivity,” says Nick de Jong, COO of Greenhouse Datacenters. “With Asimo, we strengthen our open ecosystem and give customers direct access to a much wider network reach from Naaldwijk.”

Greenhouse also offers low latency towards Amsterdam and direct access to multiple internet exchanges, combined with scalable colocation and an independent connectivity model without mandatory carriers.

A growing regional ecosystem

Asimo Networks delivers network and connectivity services through its own backbone with coverage across 76 data center locations. The partnership with Greenhouse responds to the growing demand for regional infrastructure and flexible connectivity outside the traditional data center regions.

“In the region between Rotterdam and The Hague, we see a growing need for high-quality connectivity and direct interconnection between data center locations,” says Steven van Esch, CCO of Asimo Networks. “Greenhouse has built a strong position there with high-quality infrastructure, low latency and a rich peering environment. We are pleased that we can now serve our customers through Greenhouse as well.”

Open infrastructure without lock-in

Both parties share the same vision of connectivity: maximum freedom of choice for customers. Through the expansion with Asimo Networks, Greenhouse offers customers more flexibility in connecting infrastructures, cloud environments and external data center locations, without dependence on a single network provider or platform.

With this expansion, Greenhouse takes a further step in developing an open, carrier-neutral infrastructure ecosystem for organizations in the Rotterdam and The Hague region and beyond.
